On 29 September 2025, the EMODnet Chemistry Board of Experts on the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD) will meet online to discuss the development of new climatologies for key parameters used to assess the trophic status of European marine waters.
Hosted by ICES and with presentations from the University of Liège and the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research, the consultation will gather expert input to ensure that EMODnet Chemistry’s data and products meet user needs and support EU marine policy implementation.
