The dataset shows data from Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Norway and the United Kingdom (Scotland). Details provided in the datasets vary from detailed scientific names to national common names. (2) Identify translate and harmonise, production stages (Grow out for human consumption, Hatchery, Nursery, Broodstock, Reproduction, Restoration of wild stock, Put and take fisheries, Processing facility, Slaughtering facility, Other, n.a.) and production methods (Sea cages, Saltwater tanks/racaways, Saltwater ponds, Saltwater closed (recirculation), Quarantine, Other, n.a.) (3) Data cleaning: duplicates, missing or erroneous geographic coordinates, etc. ; (4) Convert all data sets into the same reference system (WGS 84). Most important producing countries where data are missing are Malta, Germany, Portugal and Spain.
