Recreative fisheries in Belgium for the period 2016-2017

This dataset includes raw monitoring data on the positioning of recreational fishing activities in the Belgian part of the North Sea and the Belgian coast, collected during 34 aerial surveys between 30 November 2016 and 8 November 2017. Data products based on this dataset are already available on https://www.kustportaal.be/en/fisheries-and-aquaculture and on www.recreatievezeevisserij.be (-> http://rshiny.recreatievezeevisserij.be/plaatsbepaling/).

Algemene beschrijving herkomst "A new aerial survey is running over the years 2021-2022. This new survey focuses on recreational sea fishing activities from the shore (beach) and does not take into account recreational fishing vessels. Note that for all records where type_code= VH & VS the original position was masked due to it being sensitive information. A Polygon was defined (wkt) and central position calculated (decimalLatitude and decimalLongitude) and the coordinateUncertaintyInMeters defines the smallest circle, from the polygon's central position where the original location is included."
