Statement

The map was produced in May 2006 by TBM. The area was mapped by automatic classification of the ortholittoral 2000 (50cm resolution) dated July 2000 validated by field surveys on foot. The typology used is that of the Natura 2000 habitat books (Bensettiti, F., Bioret, F., Roland, G., Lacoste, J-Ph, Géhu, J-M., Glemarec, M. and Bellan Santini, D., 2004. Connaissance et gestion des habitats et des espèces d'intérêt communautaire. Tome 2 : Habitats côtiers - Cahiers d'habitats Natura 2000. Ed. Paris la documentation Françaises. 399 p.). In September 2022, Ifremer converted the dataset into EMODnet standard and uploaded it on EMODnet portal.
