Statement

The Habitat map was made by M.Le Duff and C. Hily in March 2001. It is based on field inventories and analyses of biological and sedimentological samples. This inventory was then used to provide information on the habitats of areas delimited on the 1:5000 ortholittoral map 2000. The map, produced in corel draw format was integrated into a GIS and georeferenced. The topology was then corrected. In august 2022, Ifremer has converted the original dataset into EMODnet standard and uploaded it on EMODnet portal.
