Goban Spur and Southwest Canyons Marine Habitats

This map shows benthic marine habitats on the Goban Spur and Southwest Canyons in offshore Irish waters. MBES bathymetry and its derivatives slope, rugosity and variability, were used to delineate geomorphological features, backscatter data were interpreted into broad habitat types and groundtruthed using sediment samples.
