Regular monitoring of abundance of major taxonomic microzooplankton groups collected at monthly frequency at 0.5, 5, 10 and 15 m depth in the Gulf of Trieste, station C1 (1987-1990). The C1 station, located in the Gulf of Trieste in the northern part of the Adriatic Sea, is part of the Adriatic Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) site.
