Drifters Cumnija Bay
The time series data consist of 7 sets of trajectories for drifters which were released between 17th and 23rd September 1996. Each deployment used two drifters, one at a depth of 5m and another at 30m. The drifters were deployed off the coast of Cirkewwa.
The measurements were made in connection with an oceanographic survey commissioned by Water Services Corporation with the intention of studying the hydrographic characteristics of this marine area for the purpose of a sewage outfall.
