| Statement | The map was produced in november 2005 by TBM. The methodology used is based on the photointerpretation of the 2000 ortholittoral (unsupervised automatic classification) and on field surveys on foot (observations, photographs, sediment samples). The image processing software used is GEOIMAGE. The typology used is that of the Natura 2000 habitat books (Bensettiti, F., Bioret, F., Roland, G., Lacoste, J-Ph, Géhu, J-M., Glemarec, M. and Bellan Santini, D., 2004. Connaissance et gestion des habitats et des espèces d'intérêt communautaire. Tome 2 : Habitats côtiers - Cahiers d'habitats Natura 2000. Ed. Paris la documentation Françaises. 399 p.). In September 2022, the data were converted by IFREMER to the EMODNET seabed habitat format. |
