    EMODnet Chemistry aims to provide access to marine chemistry data sets and derived data products concerning eutrophication, ocean acidification and contaminants. The chemicals chosen reflect importance to the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD). This regional aggregated dataset contains all unrestricted EMODnet Chemistry data on contaminants (49 parameters), and covers the Baltic Sea with 3818 CDI records divided per matrices: 1358 biota (396 Vertical profiles and 962 Time series),906 water profiles, 2510 sediment profiles. Vertical profiles temporal range is from 1985-04-16 to 2016-09-27. Time series temporal range is from 1972-05-02 to 2017-10-30. Data were aggregated and quality controlled by ‘Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI)’ from Sweden. Regional datasets concerning contaminants are automatically harvested. Parameter names in these datasets are based on P01, BODC Parameter Usage Vocabulary, which is available at: http://seadatanet.maris2.nl/bandit/browse_step.php . Each measurement value has a quality flag indicator. The resulting data collections for each Sea Basin are harmonised, and the collections are quality controlled by EMODnet Chemistry Regional Leaders using ODV Software and following a common methodology for all Sea Regions. Harmonisation means that: (1) unit conversion is carried out to express contaminant concentrations with a limited set of measurement units (according to EU directives 2013/39/UE; Comm. Dec. EU 2017/848) and (2) merging of variables described by different “local names” ,but corresponding exactly to the same concepts in BODC P01 vocabulary. The harmonised dataset can be downloaded as ODV spreadsheet (TXT file), which is composed of metadata header followed by tab separated values. This worksheet can be imported to ODV Software for visualisation (More information can be found at: https://www.seadatanet.org/Software/ODV ). The same dataset is offered also as XLSX file in a long/vertical format, in which each P01 measurement is a record line. Additionally, there are a series of columns that split P01 terms in subcomponents (measure, substance, CAS number, matrix...).This transposed format is more adapted to worksheet applications users (e.g. LibreOffice Calc). The 49 parameter names in this metadata record are based on P02, SeaDataNet Parameter Discovery Vocabulary, which is available at: http://seadatanet.maris2.nl/v_bodc_vocab_v2/vocab_relations.asp?lib=P02 .     The EMODnet Bathymetry World Base Layer (EBWB) service is a gridded representation of worldwide bathymetric and topographic coverage adapted for a better representation of seabed morphological features. Based on modern WMTS schema, it allows a fluid and powerful rendering. For the global oceans EBWB1 is composed of the 2018 EMODnet Bathymetric grid around Europe (approx. 100m resolution) and uses the GEBCO 2019 grid (approx. 500m resolution) elsewhere in the marine environment. Land coverage is based on a combination of 30 arc second ASTER GDEM, SRTM3, EU-DEM, and Global 1 second world-wide water body map for the topographic part. This compilation of publicly available data sources have been merged and pre-tiled for rendering, at 10 levels of zoom starting from 1/24th of an arcminute (approx. 75m resolution).     The DTM is produced with Kongsberg multibeam echosounder survey, acquired in March 2020 by Marine Research Ltd. The resolution is 1/256 arc-minutes (~7.2m). It is located at Tuzla, Romania, on the coastal region of the Black Sea. Depths are referenced to the Local Sea Level - Marea Neagra 1975 and the coordinates are expressed into the WGS84 reference frame.

    EMODnet Bathymetry has adopted the CDI Data Discovery & Access service as developed and operated by SeaDataNet, the pan-European network of NODCs, to bring together and provide access to available high resolution bathymetric survey data sets from many data providers, such as National Hydrographic Institutes, Research Institutes, and Survey companies. All bathymetric survey data are described with INSPIRE compliant metadata, following the CDI metadata profile, based on ISO 19115 – 19139 standards. This way, the CDI service gives users a highly detailed insight in the availability and geographical spreading of bathymetric survey data sets that are acquired and managed by an increasing group of data providers and for which users can request access for downloading. The CDI metadata are public domain and freely available for all users. However, a major part of the survey data sets is not freely available and requires negotiation with the data owners. The SeaDataNet CDI search, shopping and tracking mechanism facilitates identifying and requesting access to these background data sets from data providers. Note that all data sets are used internally with permission of the data owners for contributing to the EMODnet Digital Terrain Model (DTM) for the European sea regions. The layer in the Map Viewer facilitates users to view the locations of the CDI entries and to retrieve details of individual surveys by clicking on the map. From there users are linked to the actual CDI Data Discovery and Access service (https://cdi-bathymetry.seadatanet.org/search) for performing more queries and submitting requests for data access.

    EMODnet Physics - Impulsive noise events in Pulse Block Day unit. A PBDU is the number of days in a calendar year in which impulsive sound activity occurred within the cell-grid. The product applies a common grid (10' latitude x 20' longitude) to harmonize the Regional Conventions events DBs. These data are collected at national level and contribute to the Sea Regional Convention events registry. ICES (http://underwaternoise.ices.dk/map.aspx) is hosting OSPAR and HELCOM registries. Mediterranean data are integrated from CTN under the ACCOBAMS demonstrator (http://accobams.noiseregister.org/).
