  • Displays wrecks from the National Monuments Service’s Wreck Inventory of Ireland Database (WIID) for which there is a recorded location. There is data held within the WIID on a large number of wrecks for which we have no precise recorded location, co-ordinate or known extent. Of the approximate 18,000 records, only 4,000 have precise locations leaving approximately 14,000 wrecks in the WIID database for which a location has yet to be confirmed. The location given equates with the known approximate centre point of the wreck and is not indicative of its geographic or spatial extent. Wrecks in the database have a summary description, providing information on the original vessel, their history, voyage, cargo, passengers and the story of its loss, where known. The data has been collated from a variety of sources including INFOMAR, UKHO, wrecksite.eu and uboat.net.

  • This dataset contains the meteorological parameters (mean wind speed, temperature in °C and atmospheric pressure in mbar) acquired between October 2010 and December 2010 (n=332) using the Furuno Rowind+, mounted at the top of BOREL superstructure (data acquired every 6 hours). Important Note: This submission has been initially submitted to SEA scieNtific Open data Edition (SEANOE) publication service and received the recorded DOI. The metadata elements have been further processed (refined) in EMODnet Ingestion Service in order to conform with the Data Submission Service specifications.

  • This dataset contains the meteorological parameters (mean wind speed, temperature in °C and atmospheric pressure in mbar) acquired between Jannuary 2012 and December 2012 (n=332) using the Furuno Rowind+, mounted at the top of BOREL superstructure (data acquired every 6 hours). • This dataset contains the meteorological parameters (mean wind speed, temperature in °C and atmospheric pressure in mbar) acquired between July 2014 and April 2015 using the Furuno Rowind+, mounted at the top of BOREL superstructure (data acquired every 6 hours). Important Note: This submission has been initially submitted to SEA scieNtific Open data Edition (SEANOE) publication service and received the recorded DOI. • Samples were collected during the “Acoustics along the BRAzilian COaSt (ABRACOS)” oceanographic campaigns, carried out in Austral spring (30 August - 20 September of 2015 - ABRAÇOS1; Bertrand, 2015) and fall (9 April - 9 May of 2017 - ABRAÇOS 2; Bertrand, 2017) on board the French R/V ANTEA. Spring 2015 and fall 2017 are representative of canonical spring and fall conditions in terms of thermohaline structure and currents dynamics (Assunção et al., 2020; Dossa et al., 2021).  Nutrients (nitrite NO2, nitrate NO3, phosphate PO4 and silicate Si(OH)4) have been determined on seawater samples collected using Niskin bottles at different depths during the cruise. Up to 12 samples were collected at each station, depending on the station depth. Samples were collected and "pasteurised" (ie heated at 80C for 2h30 in an oven) to ensure their stability until the analysis was performed at the laboratory. The nutrients analysis has been achieved using the classical colorimetric method (Technicon analyzer). Important Note: This submission has been initially submitted to SEA scieNtific Open data Edition (SEANOE) publication service and received the recorded DOI. The metadata elements have been further processed (refined) in EMODnet Ingestion Service in order to conform with the Data Submission Service specifications.

This dataset provides the location of lighthouses inventoried by the Amateur Radio Lighthouse Society (ARLS). It includes both existing lighthouses and historical ones that have been removed, relocated or destroyed (column Status). The dataset includes the name of the lighthouse, its code in the ARLSH database, the status, the distance to coast, whether it is located at sea or within the coastline and some comments when the ARLSH information has been edited based on information from other sources. Coordinates are approximate for most of the lighthouses. It is updated every 2 years, and is available for viewing and download on the EMODnet web portal (Human Activities, https://emodnet.ec.europa.eu/en/human-activities). Re-use for commercial and non-commercial purpose requires written consent from the ARLHS.

  • Nature Reserve is an area of importance to wildlife, which is protected under Ministerial order. Most are owned by the State. However, some are owned by organisations or private landowners, and persons interested in acquiring statutory protection for their lands can seek advice on this matter from the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage who are the parent department of the National Parks and Wildlife service in Ireland.

  • Coastal sea levels have been monitored for decades by networks of tide gauges in Bulgarian ports and harbors, established by a diverse range of organizations to fulfill their specific needs and requirements. Now the sea level stations are equipped with radar sensors.
