Pressure, temperature, conductivity, and derived salinity data with their associated quality flags from the Vigo section of the monitoring program "Oceanography Time Series in Northern Spain" (RADIALES; https://www.seriestemporales-ieo.net/), carried out by the Instituto Español de Oceanografía. Data were collected biweekly to monthly from August 1987 to September 2020 in the interior of the Ría de Vigo and its adjacent shelf, at four stations with depths ranging from 29 m to 148 m. Data were acquired using MARK III, Sea-Bird Scientific 19 SeaCAT, SBE 9 Plus and SBE 25 Sealogger CTD (conductivity, temperature, depth) profilers. They were processed using Sea-Bird Scientific's Seasoft software package, and subsequently, quality controlled with both ctdcheck (https://github.com/PabloOtero/CTDChecker) and Ocean Data View software. Important Note: This submission has been initially submitted to SEA scieNtific Open data Edition (SEANOE) publication service and received the recorded DOI. The metadata elements have been further processed (refined) in EMODnet Ingestion Service in order to conform with the Data Submission Service specifications.

In the framework of the R/V Cornide de Saavedra (Spanish Institute of Oceanography, IEO) field works, a continuous thermosalinometer (TSG) recorder was installed in 2006. From this moment, daily data was sent to the IEO datacenter until the end of the vessel activity in 2013. After a detailed quality control/quality asessment revision, that includes checking the clock, position, and recorded temperature, salinity and fluorometry values, the whole dataset is provided with quality flags (QF) that improved their usability. Datafiles and the QF follow the seadatanet.org standards. During the oceanographic surveys conducted aboard the R/V Cornide de Saavedra (Spanish Institute of Oceanography, IEO-CSIC), its continuous navigation echosounder device was integrated into the data management system in 2011. Subsequently, daily data transmission to the IEO/NODC data center continued until the conclusion of vessel activity in 2013. Following a comprehensive review of quality control and assessment, encompassing clock verification, positional data, and recorded values, the entire dataset was provided with quality flags (QF) to optimize its usability. Both the data files and QF align with seadatanet.org standards. R/V Ramon Margalef was built in 2012 for oceanographic research purposes. It mainly operates around the Iberian Peninsula and Canary island waters. Since the beginning of its operations, an automatic weather station has been continuously collecting marine meteorological data every minute, both at open sea and in port. The collected data are sent directly to the Spanish Institute of Oceanography (IEO) Data Center / National Oceanographic Data Center for delayed mode quality control and long-term archive. Recently, a semi-automatic process has been used to perform quality control and assessment of the data. Controlled data are stored in a standard MEDAR/MEDATLAS format, and the corresponding quality flag has been added to each individual measurement. This facilitate their reusing for different purposes, from climatology or academical studies to industrial sector needs, between others. In 2023, atmospheric pressure, air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and direction and solar radiation were collected.
