UN Ocean Conference 2022

The UN Ocean Conference 2022 is a major event in a pivotal year for the global Ocean community, having been postponed since 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The EMOD-network will be attending the event with representatives from the Secretariat, thematic Coordinators and more partners and wider stakeholders. 

EMODnet will actively participate in multiple sessions related to ocean literacy, ocean governance, state-of-the art marine knowledge (e.g., for the Atlantic Ocean). In addition, EMODnet is co-organising a side event on "Marine Data Interoperability" on 29 June 18:00-20:00 GMT+1, which is accessible to all.
