In January 2022, EMODnet Biology has published more than 3 million occurrence records from European waters, mainly from the North Atlantic Ocean and North Sea. From these 30 datasets (25 new and 5 updates), users can discover a wide taxonomic variety (algae, angiosperms, benthos, birds, mammals, phyto- and zooplankton, fish and reptiles) from a period between 1913 to 2020.
In December 2021, two deliverables were published: Deliverable 2.1: Inventory of possible historical data resources within the consortium and Deliverable 2.2: Technical implementation of data flows for the new project partner.
