Description

  • 14 Sep 2021
  • Venice, Italy

The workshop will focus on promising R&I solutions undertaken, as well as the policy instruments implemented, in the management and valorization of plastic litter in Ports/Harbours and their hinterland at Mediterranean level. The scientific coordinator of EMODnet Chemistry, Alessandra Giorgetti, will give a presentation on the value of open access marine environmental data in support of analysis covering the status, identification and impact of marine litter. The aim of the event is to identify gaps and bottlenecks to be overcome for an effective prevention and mitigation from the impact of marine litter across the whole basin.
