The methodology focused primarily on end-user applications and involveed the assessment of the upstream data against 11 important challenges relevant to sustainable blue growth. These challenges were regional case-studies which, through concrete demonstrations of use and value, had contributed in the sea-basin scale assessment of the Atlantic’s observing infrastructure.
