Data providers are at the one end of the marine knowledge value chain, and are the heart of EMODnet. The Data Providers list mainly includes data aggregators, infrastructures and services, it does not include all of the many hundreds more in situ ocean observation, marine monitoring and data collection efforts that are the foundation of the EMODnet marine knowledge value chain. The data aggregators are from across all sectors, ranging from research institutes and universities, to private sector, public administration/government and NGO, and currently contribute data to EMODnet thematics either directly or through Data Ingestion. This is a living page that will be updated regularly.
