European Marine Board 8th Forum

The 8th EMB Forum on 1 December 2021, at BluePoint Brussels and online, focused on facilitating the discussion between relevant European Ocean Decade stakeholders, including the science community and policy makers.

The EMOD-network joined as participants and Zoi Konstantinou (policy officer, DG MARE, European Commission), spoke on a panel discussing the important role of marine knowledge for delivering a more transparent and accessible Ocean for all. She highlighted EMODnet as a key EU capability providing a public service for integrated and interoperable in situ marine environmental and human activities data, with an increasingly global user base.
