The importance of marine data in the development of the ‘blue’ economy at local and regional level was discussed at a workshop organised by the European Committee of the Regions in Brussels on 13 October 2016. EMODnet will be present and will demonstrate forthcoming updates, including a new GIS based Map Viewer allowing visualisation of multi-thematic data layers. Further details can be found here.
