Every 3 years, IMDIS conferences bring together different communities working in the fields of information technology, marine data management, research, environmental protection and more to share and exchange on the latest ocean data standards, products, services and software, as well as recent activities in terms of marine environmental infrastructure and observation systems.
Every 3 years, IMDIS conferences bring together different communities working in the fields of information technology, marine data management, research, environmental protection and more to share and exchange on the latest ocean data standards, products, services and software, as well as recent activities in terms of marine environmental infrastructure and observation systems.
The 8th edition of the International Conference on Marine Data and Information Systems (IMDIS) will be held in Bergen, Norway, from 27 to 29 May 2024.
It will be organized into 4 sessions:
- Marine environmental infrastructures for observational data
- Data products, information and knowledge
- Data services and tools for oceanography
- Technical developments for marine data and information management
Authors are invited to submit papers for oral or poster presentations until 10 November 2023 via the IMDIS 2024 EasyChair interface.
