The European Ocean Observing System (EOOS) Technology Forum will have a workshop on 22-24 March 2022 as a virtual event. The EOOS Technology forum holds a workshop every two years and it is designed to help create and strengthen links between technology users, developers and providers in ocean observing across the public and private sectors in Europe.
Organized by the IOC’s International Oceanographic Data and Information Exchange (IODE), the Conference will have three main objectives: (i) to consider regional and global strategies and policy needed to achieve the digital ecosystem; (ii) to discuss existing and required technological developments and their implementation; and (iii) to identify future directions in ocean data and information management.
On 18 November, the EMODnet Secretariat was invited to present at the EC Blue Economy Conference, taking place back-to-back with Sealogy® 2021 in Ferrara, Italy.
